Poultry protein concentrate is technically obtained during the wet melting process by separating proteins and fats from the (stick-)water fraction, concentrating by evaporation and spray-drying.
Due the specific process it contains a mix of peptides and polypeptides with different molecular chain lengths, which are highly water soluble. The protein digestibility is high (>97%).
Poultry protein concentrate, spray-dried is used as a protein binder, but also as a palatability enhancer in animal nutrition.
The product is available as a powder or pellet.
